Clifton

What do we love most about Clifton, NJ?

  • One stop shopping and dinner at Clifton Commons (yes, I secretly love Joe’s Crab Shack!)

  • Great Falls in Paterson – a surprisingly peaceful way to spend a few hours on a Saturday

  • Enjoying a little holistic “halotherapy” at the Salt Cavern on Rt. 3 in Clifton– whether you believe it it or not, it IS a relaxing 45 minutes…

  • Dance the night away at the 46 Lounge in Totowa – can you say…NIGHTCLUB?

  • Can’t miss the Kobe beef burger at Zinburger – and is it too decadent to wash it down with a glass of Merlot AND an Oreo shake?

  • Ice skating (and cursing) all year round at the Ice Vault in Wayne

  • Stumbling into the famous (AND infamous…yeah, you heard me!) Tick Tock Diner at 2:37am to people watch and scarf down plate of breakfast-all-day – Guy Fieri has nothing on me!

  • Catching a world premiere show at The Rhino Theatre in Pompton Lakes and feeling great about supporting local writers, artists and performers

  • Plan your wedding at the stunning Paris Inn Restaurant in Wayne

  • Take a dip and enjoy the beauty of the Highland’s Natural Swimming Pool in Ringwood

  • Horseback riding lessons at the West Milford Equestrian Center (you know you always wanted to be fancy enough to do “dressage”)

  • I know it’s a store, but who doesn’t love spending hours wandering around Absolutely Fish in Clifton?  With conservation & education programs, it’s practically a museum!

  • Willowbrook Mall in Wayne – shop shop shop…enuf said

  • Checking out sports history at the Yogi Berra Museum in Little Falls

  • A night under the stars (and on the ground) at Rifle Camp Park in Woodland Park

  • (Trying to) enjoy the holiday decorations at Lambert Castle in Paterson with my groaning 8-year old in tow

  • Craft beer and delicious bar food at The Shepard and the Knucklehead in Haledon

  • Feeling “classy” listening to live jazz and at Clifton Art Center and Sculpture Park

  • Snapping a selfie at Paul’s Bar and Bowling in Paterson, a recent recipient of a Food TV “Restaurant Impossible” makeover

  • Trying not to get lost on miles and miles of hiking trails at Norvin Green State Forest in Ringwood

  • Racing my kid over to Her Royal Highness in Pompton Lakes for a Princess Birthday Tea Party and wishing I could have a princess wine party, too!

  • Get back to nature with long walks at the NJ Botanical Garden in Little Falls

  • Nothing like farm-to-table produce when you visit family-owned Ploch’s Farm in Clifton

  • Date night at Bottagra in Hawthorne
